Koko’s Bavarian came to me with a brand that was full of flavor, but a little messy (kind of like a loaded hot dog!) The logo and fonts were already in place, along with some of the color palette and illustrations. The core ingredients were there – they just needed help building a recipe that could be repeated across a growing franchise to build a strong, recognizable identity.
Working with the Koko’s team, I helped clean up the brand and create a cohesive system – bringing consistency to the chaos without losing the fun.
Now we have food trucks, trailer wraps, signage, venue specific assets, pretzel carts (at the Gorge!) and more.
Since February 2024, we’ve rolled out to over 45 venues across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K.—and every single one proves the same thing: it’s always a good day for a hot dog.

In addition to Koko’s regular branding & design, the opportunity for partnerships sometimes pops up. In March of 2025 we collaborated with Justice on a special one-night hot dog, inspired by versions sold in Paris.
For Koko’s 2024 Festival run, we did something sticky and fun. Blending each of the festival’s identities into our own, we created custom stickers to hand out with every bratwurst, pretzel, or hot dog sold.
